He served Clemson well. I’m sorry we’ll lose him, but I believe it’s a heck of a job to have. Clemson will find someone to carry the torch, innovate, and adjust accordingly.

I don’t have an opinion on DRad one way or the other. All he did was make budget cuts to offset the financial losses of 2020. Then track and field supporters turned it into a racial thing, gender thing, and crying about all the money spent on football.

Basketball and Baseball have been stale for awhile. A new AD is probably what is needed at this point. The football success started with Terry Don. DRad just didn't screw it up.

Have you seen how the campus has changed since our football program took off? They’ll give the new AD a tour pointing out every new building paid for by football and tell them they better align or else.

Besides, going from one ACC school to another ACC school will really show the ACC what a mistake it was not picking him for Commissioner.
Can we at least get a real down-to-earth guy like Terry Don this time instead of a fake stiff like DRad?

I could care less at the end of the day but to have not done anything with our basketball program has really puzzled me on his AD skills. I do like Monte Lee and hoping he can get things turned around but have been done with Brownell. I understand we are not a basketball school but dang we could do better IMO.

I really believe we can do better than Dan, especially in thinking outside the box & partnering with Dabo.

Made a complete abortion of the entire Track & Field debacle. Where was the supposed smart, highly compensated council in his inner circle to tell him what a terrible decision to cut that program at that time was?!?!?!
It was a complete boneheaded move to make by someone making his salary and having his supposed experience.
Hell, I could have advised him way better than that for nothing.
It not only brought horrendous unnecessary attention upon Clemson, but it didn’t help perceptions of us from external elements. It also cost the program $$$, along with being forced to add two more worthless sports to feed. He also passed up better opportunities for the program than the two he chose
