Was he an English professor? I had a Dr. Henry for advanced composition in 1971 and he was my second best prof. M.C. Bell for calculus 106 was the best!

I had a Dr Henry from the same course around 74/75. He was a very good prof.

I knew Dr. Henry very well during my years at CU

from '65-'69, as he served as the advisor to "The Tiger," during my association with the same. He was very reserved and judicious in his advisory role, never once telling us what we could or could not do. Obviously, therefore, we liked him. He did teach a journalism course, if I remember, the only one at CU in those days. I am saddened to hear of his death.

Dr Henry was my favorite for English

He was one of the most genuine teachers I had for liberal arts classes. He truly cared for his students. I am saddened by his passing.

Dr. Henry put up with our growing pains...

...as budding journalists, men and women. In time, most all of us came to look back on him with a blend of appreciation, admiration and affection.

Godspeed, Dr. Henry.

Dr. Henry taught a Southern literature class around 1980 that was the most enjoyable and challenging class I had in four years. He also taught me never to accept anything just because an "authority" said it was so.***
