Dorm Rooms at Holtzendorf YMCA

Anyone remember or stay there. There were only about 15 or so dorm rooms. Hard to get. I roomed there with a bud my sophomore year 86-87. There was an access to climb to the roof. We would sit on the roof and watch soccer games with a cooler. Had free movies downstairs. Close to downtown and classes and right on Bowman. Fav place to room on campus during my undergrad 85 to 89.

I always thought Holtz seemed like a dorf. I guess that is how the name was developed.

My Dad stayed there 64-65 and had a part time job working at the Y.Seems like they had a movie theater back then.

I'm class of 1952, just a few years ago!!! Yes, we had free movies on Sunday nights. Also, had a nice pool there.
