I’ll just hold off until the kid actually says something or changes his Twitter. Usually other then family and friends the socal media is updated ASAP. His still has Clemson Football commit along with his Clemson commit pinned to the very top. ??????? I’m sure he probably won’t be coming to Clemson but you never know.

Agree…the fact that it took this long surprises me. 1000 miles from home versus 350 with a coach you like…give me the ‘easy’ button.

Too much talent at Clemson to break into a starting position. "Okrahoma" is s good place to be since they have never stressed defense and talent deficiencies can be hidden at times. Once they are in the sec this will become more magnified. Good luck to this young man.

He's probably never even seen OU. They stressed defense under Stoops, but not as much under Riley.
They are our chief rivals so I am not pulling for this kid anymore.

I’m sure most of us who are huge college football fans agree that these young men have every right to choose one school over another. I’ve got three children and all three started at Clemson, one changed majors and transferred to a school with a stronger program in that course of study, the other is our homebody. He just hated being away from home and only our daughter started and finished there. Heck she’s still there. After earning her two undergrad degrees in biochemistry and another bachelors in microbiology she’s now in her third year as a PhD candidate in chemistry. It is their futures and their lives so they have every right. My issue is this, I, like I’m sure many others did too at the time, got a put in my stomach when they removed the eligibility rule and sitting out a year. I remember saying to my wife this is it the beginning of the end for the greatest sport in America. This will open the door to everything that’s wrong with amateur sports. It will allow coaches like Kirby smart and jimbo fisher to be the guys reaping the benefits. Not the Sabans or Swinneys. When 2021 season kicked off university of Georgia had the most five star recruits in its roster. More than any other school, why? Alabama is a championship factory and a minor league team for the NFL. In the CFP era no school besides bama has had more success. Right outside of that is Ohio state. UGA though has always been second tier so how is it possible they have more five stars than anyone else. Some may say I’m a homer and this is sour grapes but c’mon? What can Kirby smart and Georgia offer that Clemson Alabama and Ohio State don’t have? Better coaching? Nope. Facilities? No way. Assistant coaching? Not even close. Academics? That might be a push with Ohio State but let’s face it these kids don’t care about the degree? UGA is the red headed step child to alabama in the SEC, Ohio State is king in the big ten and Clemson rules the ACC but five start transfers seem to be lining up to head to Georgia and does anyone else notice how quickly those five stars, once they enter the portal, are commuting to UGA? The ncaa has to modify this rule. Add into the mix the rampant pay for play now occurring with nil money and college football is dead! When Texas A&M suddenly is number one in recruiting and a hapless Texas team is five, doesn’t take a genius to see what’s happening. When the number one recruit in the country flip to an HBCU then hours later is linked to a 2.4 million dollar NIL deal doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. The case of Quinn Ewers is even more disgusting. There’s a kid I wouldn’t want anywhere near my program. In the ultimate team sport he’s the ultimate me me me guy and he’s going to be the one you want leading your squad. His decisions were so sinister and so calculated, and he hasn’t started a game yet?? Literally in the span of three years the woke me generation has gotten what they want and in the process destroyed an institution. But I guess I’m just old wishing for the good old days. When a commitment meant something to people. When your word was more important than anything and where players played for their team. Sorry for the rant. It’s just sad. It’s like when John Lennon started dating Yoko. The world knew what was coming. But when the band broke up, even though everyone was prepared it was crushing.

People still want to blame Yoko

Watch the Peter Jackson doc and you’ll see what we’ve known forever. It was always McCartney’s shoddy treatment of Harrison that ended the band. Lennon would go along with it, but he really didn’t care. It’s only because they got desperate that they allowed TWO Harrison songs on Let It Be.

A lot more to it than that. Lennon and Yoko were mainstreaming heroin and wrecked Lennon-McCartney songwriting team which was more McCartney than Lennon by the time Yoko showed up with John. All this after Yoko pursued and was rejected by McCartney to sponsor her "art".
As for the greatly improved songwriter George Harrison, John and Paul had made fun of his songwriting for years. But Harrison was truly an equal by the late Beatles' career. All power to him.

Nov 1 was the admissions deadline for the Spring semester, so I assume the athletic department got involved to get him enrolled now. Unless he already applied as a backup.

Don’t put this on Coach V. If the kid enrolls at OU on his own is Brent supposed to tell him he can’t play. This is a special circumstance cause the kid is from that region

Don’t be an apologist. Do you think he’d actually enroll at OU and BV wouldn’t have any idea he was going to? Wow, that’s naive. His style is to keep in touch with these young men day to day.

Brent V said in one of his press conferences this week that there was 1 kid that he and Dabo agreed on or he got Dabo's blessing to snag. Clearly this is that one.
Dabo has done nothing but continually prove the skeptics wrong. I'll trust Dabo. I'm grateful for Dabo. To be decommiting when Dabo is STILL at Clemson, i think points to not really being All-In on all things Clemson.
Go Tigers!

I mean really who cares? The kid made a decision based on what was best for him. So why do so many of you feel like you have the right to judge him? Good luck to him and I hope all his football dreams come true with a great coach leading him. Some of you put way too much stock in kids that don't belong to you or Clemson football.
