finished the regular season 6-3 against the mighty SEC. I usually don’t care about the rest of the ACC but I really get tired of the narrative (particularly from my coot friends) that the only reason Clemson has excelled over the past decade is because we play in such a weak conference.

Add on top of that 11 ACC teams are bowl eligible to only 9 for the SEC. Last night 2 SEC teams that had a shot at becoming bowl eligible were denied by the ACC. (Florida, Coots) The Big 10 had 8, the Big 12 had 9. The Sunbelt lead all conferences with 12.

I wouldn’t disagree with you but it would be hard to live in SC and not have some coot friends. Besides, if I didn’t have any coot friends who would I poke fun at?
