For the Lamecocks, every stadium they play in is "The Real Coot Death Valley", aka. the coot cemetery. Had they moved the game to a practice field or a cow pasture, it would have been "Death Valley" for the Coots. There are so many coots buried under Death Valley, the field gives a loud crunch when the stands empty after a game.

I graduated from Clemson in 1954 and at that time our stadium was already being called Death valley. I then went to Graduate School at LSU, at which time their stadium was called Tiger stadium, and it's NOT a VALLEY. so who has the original Death valley?
