would you rather play UNC and have another ranked win

for our resume and potentially keep us #1 in polls or UNC lose to VT and NCST and us play Pitt leaving open the opportunity to fall from #1 even if we win?
I think as long as we win out at this point we will be in the playoff regardless of opponents. We may not hang on to #1 if we played Pitt but I think we would stay in the top 4, which is all that really matters. It would by far be an easier matchup against Pitt, so I tend to lean that way. I dont want to shy away from competition, but at the same time I would rather take the path of least resistance to the playoffs due that the playoffs would be validation.

I would rather play whoever gives us the best chance to win. If we lose the championship game, then we're out of the top 4. I really don't believe with the body of work that we already have in place that a win over an unranked Pitt team in the championship game would drop us out of the top 4. It may drop us from No. 1, but it's worth it to increase the possibility that we actually get in. Plus, I hate the Tar Heels and would rather see them lose their next two games and let us face up against Pitt.
Go Tigers!

2 things regarding that questions.........

1. I want the easiest route to get to the playoffs.........so i'd rather play PITT
2. in the playoffs i'd rather play a bama or ohio state or iowa in the first round rather than Okstate/OU/or even baylor/tcu.........jmo.........whatever it takes to get matched up with bama/osu/iowa

their best win is pitt, maybe duke. Their schedule was loaded with bad teams. They remind me of the bowden Clemson teams, whip crap teams get ranked and when we faced FSU, get stomped, then lose the next 2-3 games

If we win out, there is a decent chance we will be the only

undefeated Power 5 team. Bama could lose to Auburn of Florida. Ok St could lose one to Baylor or OU. Ohio St could easily lose to Mich St or Michigan.
What I mean is, there is WAY TOO MUCH FOOTBALL LEFT to be thinking that playing UNC or Pitt in ACCCG will make a difference in our ranking. If you play a Top 10 UNC and when by 3, will they really think more of that than beating Pitt by 20?

I guess I prefer the latter of the 2 options.

I agree I hate Unc so i hope they get beat both games. I really have no preference for the Acc championship. I just want to win it.
