Never seen such an idiotic fan base who’s proving they don’t watch football at all. DJ played exactly the same at Oregon State but the narrative is Clemson failed him and he’s going to light it up at FSU. They also aren’t bright enough to understand that if anyone knows how to stop DJ it’s going to be Dabo.

FSU has never been known as academics. Like most fan bases, they have people on both sides of the scale.
I’m pretty sure that fans don’t choose portal candidates, the coaches do.
DJ is the face of the mess NIL brought to football. He had the big Dr Pepper commercial before he was a starter, then proceeded to prove that he was not worthy of the hype.
It appears that he is planning to play for 6 years, collect the NIL $, then live off of that. I’d be really shocked to see any NFL interest in him.
So let FSU learn about DJ. they deserve anything bad that they get, just for all the crybabying prior to their beat down. And maybe some of you 1.5%ers can stop having such erotic thoughts about the portal - I mean DJ is the best available for them. Do you guys want HIM? Do you step in the same pile of dog poo twice?

I don’t have/ know any FSU booster/ fans. And this post is not ment to belittle non booster fans. But it’s not even been a week since the beat down that UGA gave them. And if you are “spinning “ the beat down as a result of the mass amount of “opt-outs”. Why would you be happy about acquiring another quarterback that has literally left his previous “2” schools prior to the bowl game.

I bring up the booster aspect because these are primarily the folks/fans dropping 2-5k for season tickets. 1-2k for bowl game tickets that you have to sell to pay for the bowl games. Otherwise the schools has to eat the tickets., There is no guarantee that a 12 game playoff has 2 ACC teams. I would be concerned that the same approach as last year is in the works. And by signing up another batch of transfer portal players you are putting yourself in the same situation that put you in the beat down scenario. Who wants to pay for that?

I guess you hope that you make the playoff, and the kids play. Or maybe some of these NIL deals have updated language to prevent opt outs.
