Prayer request for a Clemson Man

My dad has had 2 strokes since early May of this year. He has lost a great deal of his short term memory and he can no longer swallow. He now receives all nutrition through a feeding tube in his stomach. Dad is receiving therapy for the swallowing and is beginning to make progress after 3 weeks.
He graduated from Clemson College in 1964 with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Clemson is a family tradition. My brother and I both earned degrees from Clemson University. My first home was in one of the little brick duplexes behind Perimeter Road... married student housing. I was attending Clemson games before I was born.
I'm sure these requests are tiresome and many have no desire to read them. For those of you who are of a mind to, please pray for Jim's healing. And please pray for me. This is hard.

for Jim and family and for continued improvement in his swallowing and other problems. I have received therapy for swallowing problem and it has really helped and hopefully he will be able to have the feeding tube removed. God bless!!

Your Dad will be in my prayers and I pray God will give your family peace and comfort during your Dad's recovery. I hope he is able to continue enjoying Clemson football games.
I listen to a song by Christian artist Andrae Crouch titled "It want be long". The meaning of the song for me is that Christ will soon return and all of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior will be leaving this world to be united with God and his son Jesus Christ to live eternal in God's Kingdom. You dad will be whole again.
This song still brings me comfort during difficult times. I sincerely pray that it will do the same for you.
