Does this Clemson BBall team have enough offense for tourney

ment play ??
Haven't cracked 90 point barrier yet this season.
Lack of offense has been the knock on UVA and their tournament record supports this.

We are averaging 75.1 points per game.

This is one of the best, most complete offensive teams we have ever had. We have multiple players who can take over a game offensively. We have rarely had that.
For reference, our 96-97 Sweet 16 team averaged 68.2 points per game.
We will be fine.

Another similarity with that team is that team was led in scoring by three guards...Greg Buckner, Terrell McIntyre and Merl Code. Similarly, our guards can carry us this year (Reed, DeVoe, Mitchell) just like they did. AND we have better post scorer in Thomas than that team had at that time, as Wideman was never much of a scorer (more of a solid body and rebounder) and Jamison hadn't quite developed into the scoring threat he'd be later in his career.

Most big games are going to be in the 70s so I think we will be fine. I think we can score 80-90 against a team like Butler if we had to play that pace but we like to slow games down a little bit.

but this team has very balanced scoring..good defense and offensive contributions from every spot..we may not make a tournament impact..but we have the talent, depth and offensive balance sufficient to be one of the sleepers.

When you play defense also, and Brad's teams will play defense, you Don't need 90 points to win!!!

UVA game, but they have shut everyone down this year. UVA's defense this year is nasty and it may carry them deep into the tournament if they play consistently.

I think we do have enough offense. But what looks like higher scoring compared to history needs to be put in perspective since the shot clock is now 5 seconds shorter. Scoring should be up in general across the entire NCAA.

this team can play fast or slow
they have multiple scorers on the floor at all times
Tigers should make it to the second weekend, barring an unlucky seed
