Does the CEO of your business continue to report 2016 and 2018 profits?

My CEO talks about 2024 profits and gives an educated projection about planned 2025 results. I wish Dabo would do that. But, I guess the past brings comfort so that's what we'll continue to hear about.

More and more of the talent that you thought you hired took other jobs and you still refuse to pay more and give sign on bonuses or use other recruiting methods.

Any CEO worth their salt, when talking about results talk about exiting run rate, QoQ and YoY changes. Which is funny because that’s the… ummm… what’s it called? Oh yeah it’s called the past

OHhhh I’m keenly aware of what CEO and CFO report and how far back they typically go
OP was saying his CEO doesn’t talk about the past. They do. It’s also a bad analogy. Different jobs, different roles, different rules, different businesses

Then go ahead and fire the guy who put more money in your pocket than you could ever have possibly expected when he took over the company.

I'd hire Dabo to be the campus historian and give him an office in Sikes.

Why don’t you people gain some courage to match your conviction and just call for the guy to be fired?

A couple of us have and haven’t been shy about it.
I want him gone yesterday bc he refuses to change and adapt and he’s proven over half a decade that he won’t do it.
I’ve said it but I’ll be clear… I want Dabo Swinney gone from Clemson or to retire UNLESS he’s willing to get with the times and play the game off the field the way everyone else is.

Most companies winning 75% or more of their sales targets feel pretty good about themselves. Most companies annually competing for the best brand in their division feels like they’re doing a great job. Maybe not quite a perfect job as a few years before, but strong.
How long will the clowns here think anything less than a national title each year is a failure?
