Does KB have NFL athletic ability? Because if so, why

would he not be interested in trying another position? Tight end? He has to realize he doesn't have a future as an NFL QB, so why not try something else...and give TL the keys to the offense.

This solution seems so obvious, especially given the fact

that TL has proven he is one of the best QBs in all of college football.

I think KB could be an NFL prospect if he becomes more consistent passing. He watches Cam Newton videos to hype himself for games. Seems that may be his dream. Doubt he’ll easily switch positions

I think his best shot is to move to the slot next year and let Hunter and Trevor battle it out. I love KB. He's a great young man and played well with the skill set he has but he's a game manager. That was evident throughout the season. I think the coaches knew it too which is why we went to a more run oriented offense to minimize turnovers. We had too many games this year which were battles because we didn't have the passing game to put teams away. We have one QB on the roster and potentially another in a month that are better throwers. With our backs, we don't need a QB to carry it 10-15 times a game as much as we need a QB who can make critical throws.
Getting to the playoffs was great and KB had some big moments. However, no team can simply out-talent another once they get to the championship level. You need some type of offensive balance. We beat OSU twice because they had a QB who couldn't throw when he needed to, and we beat OU twice largely because they couldn't get a running game going and got pass happy.
Our biggest failing last night was that our O line consistently got beaten, but in the long term we need someone who can throw a catchable and accurate ball downfield.

Let's not worry about his NFL potential at another position until he is beaten out by TL or HJ. Right now he is still the starting QB and won 12 games his first year as a starter. He was under extreme pressure all night. Alabama's defense was simply better than our offense last night. Both ints. he threw last night were due to bama's defense making plays.

Y’all need to stop it with this KB hate. He’s decently athletic, can grow a ball at least 15 mph, and is good at tucking and running for at least 2 yards. Not to mention, when we’re playing less talented opponents, he’s dynamite

KB is definitely a great athlete and he did a great job of running our offense all year. I don’t believe that he is an NFL caliber quarterback but he does a good job of managing our offense.

TL has never had a bad day in his life much less a bad game.
I am instantly annointing him based solely on his Army All American passing drill video from yesterday. All other QB’s will report to TE practice in the spring so we will have 10 TE’s.

No. At this stage...

he would have had to have played a different position for a few years to have had that ability and a remote chance. He won't play in the NFL and there is no chance.

now. It will be based on how good he is a whole year from now. Lot's of time to improve. Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts improved a lot in the last year.

I wouldn't say Jalen did, except in short passes. Bama just wanted it more than we did, just like we wanted it more than they did last year. As for KB, he is a great athlete, but i don't see him as a qb on the next level. I would cross train him like we did RR. He may end up likeing it. It not a slap[ in the face, just reality and hoping he can make the big bucks later!
