I did not see any of the thugish behavior from Bama on either side of the ball like you see from SC, LSU and Florida
all the BS talking, in your face, head bobbing, superman stretch, you see from SC, LSU and Florida was there tonight with Bama
I guess when you're use to winning big and have over a long period, you know how to handle it
it's for sure SC doesn't know how to handle it and the thugs they have act like people you wouldn't not want to be seem with in public

Not really. They just have a head coach who doesn't put up with any bullish...Hince why you never hear about these kids getting arrested or any off the field antics.

Can you imagine what Saban would have done to...

the Swearinger punk after his antics throughout the season? I would also think he would put Sanders behavior in check.
Nothing wrong with kids celebrating good plays, but on-the-field jawing and strutting (like you've NEVER been there before) would not be tolerated by Saban.

Swearinger never would have tried it with Saban as his coach. spurrier brings out the behavior in them because he is an anything goes, at all costs coach. Not much character building with him, but he does win games. If that is all you care about, then he's your man.

No, they just have a coach that doesn't play around.

Could you imgine seeing old stevo on the sidelines last night? Flipping around like a little kid and jumping up and down cause his team didn't get a first down?? Oh wait we all did see that, against Michigan.
Say what you want to about Saban... but that man can coach. I hope Dabo will take some lessons.

You need to start watching more REAL college football, i.e. SEC football. Before he got to this 3 outta 4 NC's stage of his football coaching career (within sight of the 'Bear's' home on the heavenly mountain), post-game press conferences with Saban (win or lose) were known around the league as 'water boarding excercises in a small, hot room' Nothing very 'classy' about them at all. Just a short guy ranting at anyone who would listen.
However, he's ours and we'll keep him.

SEC Incest at its finest.
By real football, do you mean the kind that had LSU players being carried off the filed after every play?

We must have different definitions of "Thug"
Jan 8, 2013, 7:18 AM

Hopkins was trash talking to the LSU DBs all night, and I certainly don't think he's a thug.
Jaron Brown gets in people's faces and talks after just about every catch. You think Brown is a thug?
I think a thug is someone who clearly goes outside the boundaries of the game; Like someone who aims to knock someone out of a game, or potentially end their career. That's a thug. Example: Miami.
Head bobbing and trash talking does not make you a "thug". Big hits do not make you a "thug". Showing emotion does not make you a "thug".

They did do a little taunting in the tunnel on the way out, but not much on the field antics. Much classier than coots, classier than UF, somewhat better than LSU. It goes without saying the coots are the lowest wrung on the ladder of class. It comes from the coach all the way to the scrubs.

Saban recruits character along with talent. Look at their grad rate. Dabo recruits the same way. Every program has its hiccups but ours and their a lot less than others.
Can anyone imagine saban at lsu with the talent they have. Scary! Just sayin.

you don't have to "imagine" it. Saban was already at LSU 3 years and won a national championship, and provided the players for Miles to win a natty as well.
