Does anyone think if we go undefeated that we won't be top 4

? I don't think it matters what the critics say. We just go undefeated as we are supposed to and we are in.

There won't be 5 undefeated teams, and we won't lose our spot to a 1 loss team. Wisconsin would've been in over Bama last year if they'd beaten Ohio State.

Generally agree but be cautious of "barely" won games

Especially if ND continues to win.

If Clemson ND Bama OSU and Oklahoma go undefeated we would potentially have to most underwhelming resumè. Unlikely that all of those teams go undefeated, though.

Notre Dame has 1 more ranked team on their schedule. Their schedule sucks too.

In 4 years of Playoffs, there have only been 3 undefeated

teams total. And you think for some reason there might be more undefeated teams this year than the last 4 years combined. Not just more, 5 times as many undefeated teams than in any single year and 2 more undefeated teams than the last 4 years combined.
There has never been 5 undefeated power 5 teams, even before conference championships. Not even close.

If we drop a game with this schedule, then we have no business in the playoffs. We should breeze thru the rest of our schedule. The only Semi tough game will be Syracuse, and it’s at home

Exactly. If we lose a game we don't belong. If we win out we are in.

I agree with poster who said, "no, win them all and we are in. But, be cognizant of underwhelming wins"! If 5 teams are undefeated from power 5 conferences ours would likely be the least impressive set of wins as things stand now! Long season and maybe teams who aren't ranked now; get ranked by seasons end!

Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin will all end the season with one loss. Alabama or Georgia will have one loss and Notre Dame will lose to Stanford Saturday. Oklahoma will lose one to schedule and that will leave Clemson and the SEC Champs as the only undefeated teams.

I'm not losing sleep over it, but I can easily foresee a situation in which
Bama Clemson Ohio St Oklahoma Notre Dame or Stanford
go undefeated. In that case, the ACC's dismal performance thus far could put us in a precarious situation.

Going to keep an undefeated team out of the CFP, one will have to search far and wide to trump OU's over Army in OT. Then again, Penn State over App State might be a run for the money, but first games are really wild cards. Three and four weeks in, it shouldn't happen like it did in Norman.
