was on the same level as Michael Jordan. In fact, I don't think there is any doubt that he was better as a freshman than MJ was as a freshman. He could dribble, pass, and score. He could hit the long range jumper with a defender in his face, and he could hit the pull up jumper, and he could drive and take it all the way to the basket, and he instinctively knew which one to do and when to do it. He made it all look easy.

They are right to rave. Skip was unbelievable to watch. Left after 1 year to sign with the Baltimore Claws. The Claws folded and Skip eventually played for a prison team.

I wish I could bring it back for you but there were no recording devices like we have today.
I can still picture him in my mind and he was awesome whether dribbling or shooting. He was a Hot Dog but really, really good.

All the posts here are accurate. Unfortunately, you are not likely to find any video. A friend and I have searched tirelessly to find something from his time at Clemson. Found nothing. He was an unbelievable talent with confidence. Best I ve ever seen. Had the "it" factor and backed it up with his performance. Too bad he ended up in trouble. At that same time...Clemson was very close to getting Moses Malone. Can you imagine that!. Tate's Locke was quite the recruiter. Unfortunately, things didn't work out.

One of the TV networks did a special on him. He was a Street legend in Baltimore. May have been ESPN. May can find info there.

I think he was the first freshman to make all ACC. He was a freshman at the same time that Phil Ford was at UNC and beat him out!

I was a Junior during his one season at CU and had the opportunity to attend every home game he played. Smooth as glass and simply unstoppable. There will never be another like him.
