I would say if you are using the portal heavily that’s an indication of a problem within your program.

Supplementing a position of need isn’t. As for Colorado, it still remains to be seen what they are. We can tell they have little defense. Their offense looks good but we don’t really know how bad the TCU defense is this year.

Colorado had the absolute perfect game plan and executed … getting the ball out quick for the most part to speed in space. Sanders made a few beautiful throws don’t get me wrong but he got it out quick and had a lot of time most of the game… I think it was partly no one knew what to expect out of them and tcu defense is very bad even last year. I think Colorado is much improved but they won’t surprise anyone anymore. They will prob win 7-8 games but I suspect now that there is tape it’ll be a little diff with teams that play some defense bc if tcu was smart they should have played keep away and pounded it inside , thats the weakness of the Colorado team their front is not very good

These young people today, are being enabled to seek immediate gratification while missing the main point of why they are competing for a program.

Talent is clearly important…VERY important…but, leadership is also very important in reminding these kids that the “main thing” should remain being the “main thing”…
