It would be fantastic to win this game
But my calm feeling is because this game provides Clemson with everything to gain and nothing to lose.
If we lose, it was expected and has no bearing on our chances to win the ACC...if we win it gives the team a huge amount of momentum and puts us back in the national spotlight

If we lose....well...it was the 1st game of the season against the number 1 team in the country. And there will be plenty of time to recover and make the playoffs.

Yes! It is very weird. It's a feeling of if we're awesome and playoff bound again, we won't be surprised, but the nation and talking heads will.

We might not beat UGA, but the player interviews, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, indicated a quiet confidence—they know how to execute better. Most QB jumps happen year 1 to year 2. Plus, a whole year and a half with new OC should help. Time grows experience. Last year was certainly indicative of growing pains, but I think we see a better team in the field tomorrow. Hopefully, we show it on the scoreboard too.
