Knocking severely on wood, haven't had that much problem with mine
I think most people get used ones that previous owners sunk in mud or a river somewheres at some point, no car fax on that because another jeeper had a tow cable and pulled them out, but gave the vehicle cancer
I love mine. on a nice day with top back and doors off, pretty nice

Funny how this board has never met a vehicle that is reliable.
My daughter had a Wrangler for about 13 years. Other than a few small things, that Jeep was great. Trust me, if she can't break one, they must be pretty tough. Saying she was an aggressive driver is like calling the Empire State building tall.
The only reason she doesn't have it now is due to a growing family. She is still in mourning.

According to Allison Parliament, who is credited with starting the Jeep ducking phenomenon, "Jeeps get ducked for many reasons and with lots of motivations and meanings. For me, it was an act of kindness, a healing of sorts, as well as recognition of and greeting to a fellow Jeep owner. But it can just be that you like their Jeep, or it's the same Jeep you have, or maybe a classic Jeep you would like to own one day. You don't really need a reason for Jeep ducking other than to connect, bring a smile to someone's face, and have fun."

Sometimes I get ducked two or three times in a 24 hr period. I don’t often go around ducking others, instead preferring to get ducked.

We don't own a Jeep product but we did stay at the Apex Grassmarket Hotel in Edinburgh last week. When we arrived at our room we found our towels folded neatly on the bed with a duck named Austin sitting on top of them. He was accompanied by a card telling us to take Austin around the world, photographing his adventures, share them on socials, tagging the hotel along the way.
I hope this helps

The duck thing is ridiculous.
Duck Duck Jeep is just ridiculous to me.
The wave is becoming less common and that irritates me. Quit playing with rubber ducks and give the proper jeep wave.

I wouldn't do the wave. I also wouldn't duck anyone. If I found a duck on my Jeep I'd drive off leaving the toy behind.

at first I thought some child accidently left it there, I had no clue this was a "thing". Eventually I caught on to it. I think the little rubber ducks are now rolling around under my passenger seat. I have never reciprocated because it never occurs to me to do so. Whatever, it's a nice gesture I suppose. Part of being a Jeep owner is not taking life so seriously, and just maintaining a positive outlook. Haters gonna hate that attitude, I get it.
I generally like the "camaraderie" of being a Wrangler owner, it's a cool little group to belong to. Have had many conversations with complete strangers (and some babes) just because of the type vehicle I drive. Great icebreaker. You don't get that driving a minivan.
And I obviously got a lemon, because my Wrangler just turned over 150,000 miles and it's been to the shop exactly twice (not including getting new tires): 1 - a couple weeks after I bought it I got the battery replaced because the original had a bad cell that wasn't charging, and 2 - the day I took it in for a 100,000 mile checkup. Only time it's ever spent in a shop. (I change my own oil, fluids, and other maint).

lot. Pretty sure that is marking them for sex trafficking. We need the police to patrol more of this instead of trying to prosecute upstanding americans. The "DUCKERS" are going to take your kids right out from under you!!!

[ in reply to They was puttin ducks on cars in the Conway Wal-Marts parkin ] |

My daughter was out at the movies the other night, and saw some guy stalking her around the parking lot. She was with my wife's mother, but after they got inside, my MIL left her hankie in the Jeep and sent my daughter out to get it. When she got back to the Jeep there was a DUCK on it. She immediately ran inside and called me. When I got there I called the police but they said that it wasn't a crime to leave a duck on the car and they needed a warrant in order to get the duck off the car and swab it for DNA.
A few weeks later my daughter was out at a bar and though she saw the guy there. She called me and I drove right over there. After having a few socos with lime, I headed back to the car and waited for him to leave. I ended up following him for about 6 hours until he pulled over. As soon as he did I ran over to his car, knocked on his window, and shook my weiner at him. I shook it so hard I ended up breaking my weiner. But this is what you have to do as a father in today's world. You can't relax. I'm doing PT on my weiner so next time it's stronger.
