May be lame, but I think Tim has a minor point. Our players should be up for that game regardless, but if Miami defeats the cuse it could be a little deflating. Hope is a powerful emotion.

I should hope these players would be man enough to suck it up, compartmentalize, and go play ball and beat the breaks off the coots. Clemson pissed away their ability to control their path to the championship when they didn’t show up for their own home game versus Louisville.
Are they that fragile? Maybe so.

get that out of your brains. We had our shot against Louisville and we got man handled.... at home. Its one thing to get beat at the buzzer by a FG or something at home but completely different when a team tame's you like they did. We decided to scrap the taking shots playbook we had after UGA and went back to the screen/scared gameplan again. I don't know what happened that week in that coaches meeting but it reverted.
Thats when I knew we were just a bowl team.

h e l l they were up by 19 pts for most of the 2nd half. We were a whole lot closer to getting blown out than we were to making comeback and getting a victory...at home, rested, with CFP birth to play for(an incentive not shared with our opponent)
