And on twitter too. Well couldn't he do an official visit to Clemson without decommitting? Most head coaches don't have the same rules as Dabo. It would be up to Dabo whether he would invest the time and money on some one who was committed elsewhere.

I think Dabo has it both ways. I don’t think he will let you take a OV visit to Clemson if you are committed. I may be wrong.

on an official visit to Clemson. He later flipped to Clemson. Nate Wiggins was also committed to LSU and flipped to Clemson. I don't believe he visited Clemson while committed to LSU. But for him to flip from LSU to Clemson there had to be some form of contact between the two while he was still committed to LSU.

If offered, seems that's an open door to an official?
On the flip side, years ago, he turned away Sweet Baby James Davis lil bro, Mike, when he committed to Scar before his OV to Clemson.

not taking other visits, one of the reasons he tells recruits to take all their visits before they decide.
If a recruit is trying to commit to Dabo, he says everything, but no, hopefully reinforcing the above.
That heart to heart might help explain why Clemson has so few decommits over years?

From what I can read on the Florida pages he was recruiting other players hard for Florida but with these kids , it’s hard to predict

I saw that too, and just went on his twitter; in the last 24 hours he's been actively posting for guys to "come home" to Florida. Doesn't sound like a guy who is about to decommit to visit elsewhere. But...teenagers...who knows?

Is he willing to compete with Klubnik and Vizzina? I'm game but if he does change his commitment from FL to Clemson, IMO, we'll have to say goodbye to Viz.
Let me know when the OV is scheduled to Tiger Town and then I'll raise an eyebrow.

Losing a QB is always a possibility but surely he committed here knowing he would be competing with 2-3 other highly rated QBs. Think it would ultimately come down to who was playing and if he's good enough he will be the starter in a couple of years regardless of who we recruit.

I would say from a business perspective having, hypothetically speaking, Vizzina & Lagway battling it out for the starting job in 2 years would be great because ideally it would push competition & we would get the best version of either player as an end result.
Because for all intents and purposes, Klubnik will be the QB for us for the next 2 years so Vizzina will probably not have an opportunity to secure his role as the starter before Lagway were to get there

Where there’s smoke there’s normally fire. Granted I can’t remember a big time recruit we flipped. We normally stop recruiting when they commit elsewhere. Only players I can think of are the lower rated ones that may have committed to non power 5.

It's pretty obvious that Lagway was at Hawkins' home when he posted that and was telling Hawkins that he should stop playing around or he was going to miss out on some fried gator tail that Lagway was cooking up. That was simply a dinner bell.
