No one is being sensitive about this. DJ is dead wrong and deserves the criticism. At least he admitted he sucked without realizing it with this snippet.
"Not opening it up 100 percent because they don't trust the quarterback," he told Feldman. "I felt that definitely at times. For the quarterback that is tough, like, 'Man, they don't trust you.' They're saying, 'Yeah, we trust you,' but their actions don't show it. And it's not just me who sees it. All the other players see it as well. 'Man, why aren't we throwing the ball? It's wide open.' It was tough."
Last two times he stepped on the field was 8-29 against Scar and couldn't hit wide open receivers against UNCheat. After being a horrible QB for so long he should've kept his trap shut until actually doing something at Oregon State.

I honestly don’t get it. The vast majority of Tiger nation wanted him gone and got their wish. Judging by what I saw at the spring game, we got bigger fish to fry than worrying about a QB that’s no longer here.

Usually, I would agree. That being said, DJ recently made remarks about Clemson and the coaches making it reasonable to expect the fanbase to respond.
