This tactic has been around for thousands of years.
During the past year 10 years, Trump has been very effective at creating a divide and deepening it.
LA riots are perfect opportunity for him to further deepen AND widen the divide among all of us in America, including those of us on TNet.
He will create more and more chaos, more and more division, more and more rhetoric, more and more violence.
99% of this has been created by one person Donald Trump.
He will keep planting seeds and it will result in more division and more violence.
Once he has half of America hating the other half America even more than now, he will declare there is an insurrection.
He will start throwing lots of people in jail.
He will start by imprisoning Democrats.
He will declare martial law.
He will claim the need to stay in office until further notice.
He has already conquered the Republicans and the right. Once he is in office as dictator until further notice, then he will have conquered the Democrats and the independents and everybody. Done.
2016 was the beginning.
The only way to stop this is to impeach him. JD Vance doesnāt have the narcissist huevos to do this.

1) Trump is not causing these people to commit violence in LA
2) If you believe Trump can do all the things you are claiming, then impeachment is not going to do any good
3) If Dems continue to pull for Mexico in the Battle of LA, then they won't win enough seats to impeach Trump. It's almost like they are trying to lose elections at this point.

Or perhaps, given the video evidence of what is going on in LA, the illegal immigration situation is not as bad as a lot of people thought - it's worse.
We can agree over the couple of due process issues going on for sure. I just don't think the optics of a #### ton of people carrying Mexican flags fighting with police and destroying property, and Dems seemingly not even being able to condemn the violence, is going to bode well for them. Especially, since this is one of the issues that put Republicans in power.

Immigration law, that is.
That's not the issue.
The issue is...
-ICE and the fed are rounding up people unconstitutionally.
-When you deny people due process and basic human rights, they'll respond with violence.
-Trump and his team know this and were looking for an excuse to turn the military on the people in a crisis. He basically told us all he would do this while on the campaign trail.
-The National Guard was deployed unnecessarily. The goal is to eventually open fire.
That's the debate.

This playbook was so obvious, it wasn't hard to call it would happen when Trump took office. He basically told us he'd do it.
-Round up people with no due process and do it with fear-mongering tactics
-Send them off to camps and hold them indefinitely. See how much it pisses people off but also what you can get away with.
-Wait until the summer time; tensions always get hotter and you've had time to let this fester.
-Wait until really bad publicity hits (Elon)
-Send mass raids in a volatile area like LA.
-When the unrest starts, send in an overreaction of force.
-Wait for violence to escalate, open fire, seize control.
And if your response is, "Trump couldn't think of all this," you're being more naive because this ain't planned by Trump.

The Dems will impeach Trump if they take the House. I donāt see that hurting Trump based on the 2 previous impeachments.
Thatās a big if, as the Dems keep taking unpopular stands and donāt appear capable of moving to the center.
However, I donāt see 67 Senators voting to remove Trump.
As p6fuller states, if Trump really plans on becoming Franco II, impeachment and conviction wouldnāt be more than a nuisance.

But so were a lot of his teachings by bad leaders. Trump also thinks he's an Art of War disciple (I wonder who read it to him?), but he fails in many of Sun Tzu's crucial teachings. Such as never putting your opponent in a desperate situation, or leading with a calm and even temperament, or avoiding corruption among ranks, or setting examples as a leader.
Or more importantly, never attack your opponent when they have the high ground. That's more figurative than literal in today's world.
