Bill, I’m not convinced that it’s the players. It appears to me that there’s a need for better coaching. Clemson does not need the portal because we have an embarrassment of riches on the roster. Why our coaches cannot seem to prepare the roster that we have is the real head scratcher.

I don't think it's much of a head-scratcher. Most of our assistant coaches are inexperienced and unqualified for their jobs.

Keep in mind Wes Goodwin was an assistant to the head coach at the Arizona Cardinals. He knows the game and the players’ mentality.
Grisham is in his 4th year. The WRs were the most productive in Clemson history during his 1st year, then his next two years his group was handcuffed by DJ.

Great victory by the Fighting Deions!
Will take down Colorado State next week and then time for a couple of losses against the Ducks and Trojans.
Nevertheless I’ll be pulling for them.
