Last years game gives Pack the upper hand ??

NC State OG says the following ... the confidence that comes from competing closely with Clemson last season and the added motivation the ending of that game adds to NC State's mentality puts the Pack right where it wants to be ahead of a battle the team knows will be brutal.
“We want to take advantage of anything we can this week to definitely have that slight edge and get revenge on these guys,” Adams said, explaining the role that seeking a redemptive win can play for his team Saturday.
"We had a really good chance to (beat Clemson) last year, they’re a really good team. We understand what we both have at stake. I think we have the upper hand just because of what happened last year. We played a really good game, but we didn’t finish.”

Plus he added this tid-bit: “We go against a high-caliber, very physical defense every day, so it’s nothing to us," Adams said. "We get that look every day, we have a wonderful defensive line. Physicality is something that we like. That’s what we’re used to. Another day, another game.”

who has a pistol. The psyched up kid is about to bust a move until the old man bust a cap. NCS will be bichslapped back into reality on our first possession of the game.

Here's another way to look at it.

They got all the breaks, got the benefit of some egregious non-calls, gave it their very best shot ... and still couldn't pull out a win.
I'm not sure if that would give me confidence this year or not, LOL.

Seems like a good motivational thought...until you line up and see Clelin, Big Dex, Christian, Austin, Dorian, Kendall, and Tre.

We played like absolute garbage and they played the game of their life...
We kept giving them the ball over and over again and they couldn't even capitalize...
It will be a completely different ball game IMO. Clemson wins big

They will get a very focused Tiger team with no wiggle room. We all know how that's going to turn out

Last year we had 4 turnovers, 2 inside the state 10 yard line. We had 2 runs of 10 yards with one being CW on a fake punt. This year I doubt we'll be that generous.

last season in DW4's worst game ever? The 'pack better hope that we throw that many goal line picks on Satdy, or last year's game is going to fade into further insignificance. Our stumble in the Carrier Dome was the worst thing that could have happened to Dave Doh and the 'pack. If KB stays healthy we win it going away in the 4th quarter. If he goes down again, we'll have to put the backup QB in who can get the job done. Their secondary ain't very good, so throwing the ball downfield should open up the run and get us a convincing win. From this point forward, some convincing wins would help keep us at the top of the heap for the CFP.

Motivation only gets you so far. Then you get sandwiched by Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell in the backfield for the 6th time in 2 drives and your motivation starts to fade away.

we just didn't look like the same defense.
It reminded me of the way we looked against Syracuse this year. The bye week got us looking fresh again. Defense was dominant vs. GT.

Their offense scored how many points last year?
We fumbled how many times?
We threw a pic six.
They were lucky to be that close.
By the way, their kicking hasn't improved.

Let me guess: this is the same guard Wilkins plowed through to block the FG earlier in the game?
News Flash: If you don't 'finish' the game...you didn't play a good game.
