E3
E3 One day last week I wrote a blog stating my concern over the basketball team. The major point I had was the concern over the intensity and effort especially on the defensive end of the floor.
Several readers didn't like the blog and said I was too harsh and it was too early in the se

ok mickey everyone was wrong but you and we all are so happy you have that job to help us know to complain about. keep writing your blog with more mistakes than a 6th grader would have and work at the world headquarters of wccp, where no one can pick up the signal past 3 miles from the 100 square foot hole in the wall you call a station. at least your employer put it on a hill or no one would ever here you!

I think the team looked completely different yesterday.

I also loved the general admission seating. I was one of the fans that showed up an hour and a half early, sat in the first few rows and screamed our heads off. I've been to a lot of December games and that was the best crowd I've seen (outside of a USuCk game). Auburn is a very physical team and our guys gave up nothing.

Bless Plyler's heart - he's too kind IMO. Good thing I don't write blogs. And don't put a lot of stock in Arky's #18 ranking - they stunk it up and had T/O's galore. Coached by Mike Anderson (previously at UAB) does not impress me. Looked average in their best moments. Too many mistakes - just like our team. We just made a couple less. And a washed up Pearl at AU showed so many weaknesses I wouldn't know where to start.
Maybe we should watch some old films of John Wooden's UCLA teams to learn how to play the game. Just a thought. Of course we might have to get a 7-footer to make that work.
Glad we're doing "okay" - but I don't see it yet. Glad I love FB and not so much BBall. I probably should not even comment about our BBall team, 'cause it just pisses everyone off.

But I promise you that BB will get the most out of what he has got. The biggest problem I see is Hall has been sloppy with the ball and there is not a good backup option at point. But Hall also shows great strength on drives. I like the developing duo of Blossingame and Grantham. You can see those two are going to create a nice combination. The big men will get better and better. They still need to finish better at the rim and not put the ball on the floor when they receive an entry pass. People don't need to be overly critical. If you notice around the country, a lot of strange things are happening in college basketball. There are going to be a lot of teams with three and four losses at the start of conference play.
