Like they did with Jordan Travis/FSU last year? If so maybe UGA should not be #2 given there is uncertainty around Beck’s status.

Or was that just a one year rule used to justify making a spot for 1-loss team over a no loss team?

Yeah, I thought FSU should have made it too, but it was an entirely different playoff system with different criteria last year vs. this year.

He is still employed by Bama so he probably missed on some earnings as a result of the grievous snub.

UGA has a capable backup. FSU had nothing once their qb went down.

The conference champs were guaranteed a spot in the new format. Wasn’t the case last year.
