Did anyone else notice that our center has stopped

pointing across the line immediately before snapping the ball like he was doing in the first few games or am I just seeing things? I never thought that was a good idea/was giving the D-line a heads up before the snap.

I always assumed it was pointing a blitzer or other nuanced protection issue but I only stayed at an OL holiday inn express, I have no direct knowledge

He had been doing it every game home and away before ND. Every time he pointed and pulled his arm back, when his elbow got to his knee, he snapped the ball. The NC State DL and blitzers were already moving before the ball was snapped.

I hadn't noticed, but Ben on the show with Qwalk mentioned this on their show the week after Clemson beat Notre Dame, and I'm pretty confident someone on one of the Clemson Youtube channels also mentioned it.

Stopped for ND, I brought that up and the OL looked better. Would love to know the relevance of the change and if that helped.

The Clemson offense had to wait 8 games into the season for the coaches at Tnet to point this out to them, which they immediately corrected. That was not the only change the Tnet coaches incorporated the past 2 games. Thank you Tnet coaches for your help in getting our coaches back on track!
