People have no idea how completely Diana took us kids at Clemson over -

She is still in my top 5 of my most talented vocal talents. She can effortless hit every note on the scale - very rare.

I know you lost a lot in the fire- are there any albums that you consider irreplaceable? I was looking through a stack that I bought dy the’60s and ‘70s that I don’t even remember buying - never play any of them anymore but hang onto them for some reason.

I had a $3k turntable I rebuilt and supporting audio gear. I had and a couple thousand records collected over 50 years.
Many were priceless. I had a record washer as no one can judge records with out one.
My needle cost a thousand.

Records in good gear do sound better than digital.

No matter, that time is over for me. I have acquired a great porch audio system and have maybe 70K recordings of music before 1979 as I was able to retrieve them from friends I had shared with. All are lossless, not mp3.
I share albums on the YardCrap Cloud if any want this or that - tmail me.

I had 50 different mint Beatles albums that may have been worth more than my house.
I lost my first album given me by Mama - Bing Crosby. That is priceless.

I think the only Beatles album I have is the White Album- probably played it less than 5 times shortly after buying it and never since

Most people never knew this but we had to pay $50,000 + a % of the gate for a couple of hours when
we could have had Vanilla Fudge for $2,000 and they told me they would play as long as a crowd was
listening. I always thought it funny how almost all the white folk hated blacks, but loved motown!

scheduled a home game with Southern Cal, the REAL USC, the Trojans defeated the Crimson Tide 42–21. The game was a turning point in the desegregation of college football in the South.

What happened:
The USC Trojans were the first fully integrated team to play in Alabama.
The USC Trojans' backfield was all Black.
Sam "Bam" Cunningham, a Black running back for the Trojans, ran for 135 yards and scored two touchdowns.
The game was played in the sweltering heat on Legion Field.

What was the impact:
The game's outcome changed public perception and led to Alabama integrating its football team the following season.
The game is considered a metaphor for one of the most profound social changes in history.
The game is said to have led many anti-integrationists to reconsider their stance.

It was the beginning of DEI in college football
