Now the front office and coaches better shape up worlds better than what has transpired in the past.

Wow, for the privilege of living in California, his combined income tax rate is about 53% with the proposed new top rate.

That means he would be left with about $15 Million out of $32.5 Million. Sure, he can get tax help to reduce it some, but he starts off owing over $17 Million in tax for next season. Over $4 Million for California alone. $15 Million is not bad take home pay, but he is still getting ripped-off.

In Vietnam about 30 years ago, I thought the Communist government was awful, because their tax rate was over 50%! We actually paid the Government, and they paid the local employees with the leftover. Their money was so worthless, it took a big gym bag full of cash just to pay one of them.

We are headed the same way with our inflation. When Kennedy cut taxes in the 1960's he cut the top rate from 90% to 70%. Reagan cut the top rate from 70% to 28%, and it has basically been going up ever since, except for the Trump tax cuts. Clemson tuition, room and board was less than $1000/semester too...

Go Tigers!

Kick that can down the road. Reminds me of a deadbeat government.

Sadly, the way the NFL works, Mike Williams will be cut next

year in a similar "get under the salary cap" move, if he is due to get $32.5 Million under this restructured contract. He is not naive, I am sure he realizes this. Look for him to have a huge year and hit the free agent market.

He would have to have some sort of stipulations in this new restructure to ensure he at least gets his 5.5M he took a cut on. Or at least I would hope he does.

He will make his $32mil mo matter what. Height be traded, new team might pay like $7mil for 2024 and current team will pay balance, just doesn't cost them on thier player budget. But in 2025 Mike would be looking for a big contract to match the $13-30mil for 3-4yrs.

Deshaun would have loved to have him in Cleveland

maybe they can swing Renfrow. Even tho I know Hunter wouldn't ever want to move there.
