That's what Mel Kiper just stated on ESPN. What a steal!

were saying the same thing about no QBs grading out higher than late 1st or 2nd round. Then when we got closer to the actual draft they said it was possible both Goff and Wentz could go at the top of the draft. Three QBs ended up going in the first round last year including those two in the top 2 spots.
My personal opinion is that they don't know what they are talking about half the time until it gets close to the actual draft and they start getting leaks from their sources.
Watson isn't exactly Andrew Luck, but any team that needs a QB is going to have him at or near the top of their list and there's always a big premium on the QB position. Even if people want to give him a 2nd round grade, he could still easily go in the 1st.

Yep and there is like7 NFL teams in desperate need for a QB, some will grab a "now" starter in free agency but will draft a QB of the future, also.

available. And NFL teams in need of a starter will draft one in the first round no matter the quality of QB's in the draft

Tannehill, Weeden, Tebow, Sanchez, and Freeman. All those are first round bust QB's that have been drafted since 2009. Watson is a better prospect than all of those guys. So if the NFL is reaching that much on QB's in the first round, Watson is a guaranteed first rounder.

Mark Sanchez was a pretty legit prospect.

It obviously didn't work out with him, but he wasn't exactly a Manziel or Tebow where it was really obvious that their game wouldn't translate to the NFL (and yet they were drafted anyway).

I'd love to see him on the Texans with Nuk. Osweiler's deal is only guaranteed for one more year and he has severely underwhelmed, so they'll likely be in the market for a new QB soon anyway.

My money is on NUK moving on from the Texans via trade or after his contact is up, for the way they snubbed him (not getting a raise this year, while paying the rookie out if ND, Fuller, more $).

And had Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning. And claimed Kijana Carter was going to be a great RB.
