We decided not to do it because the money could only be used for in state tuition. The model has since changed but we were never told.
We did just put 10k in both our daughter's accounts. It may help my 8th grader but not the current issue.

Lincoln Trail CC
Oklahoma St on academic probation (kicked out)
Seminole JC (Oklahoma)
Then was supposed to head to VCU on scholly
Tcu ruined that by calling and flying me out to visit. Beat vcu offer by 10% for a 90% scholarship.
Tcu told me I was good to go. Called 2 days later and said they denied my acceptance so lost
Vcu and tcu offers.
Tcu called old assistant at Coker and asked if they would help and they took me.

Are dudes. College ball best teams still have .225 hitters and facing really good pitching.
Then college pitching, look at clemson one of the "best teams". They give up lots of runs. #1 starter for clemson probably has a 4+ era.
