When stupid promises can't be kept, or results are lacking, deflect. You have two general options. One is to look internally and assign blame to domestic enemies. You then have a purge, highlighted by many tragic falls from windows and mysterious disappearances. Other option is to assign an external boogeyman. Some foreign country is to blame. Then you start a war.
Both methods are time tested to deflect unrest and angst towards a dear leader.

Yes, but this time it appears Dear Leader is fighting Twitter's algorithms and a Rupert Murdoch who seems hellbent on getting one last giant scalp on his wall before old Rupert heaves off gently into that good night...or gets staked in the heart like all undead creatures, whichever comes first.
That's a new thing for Donald. I'm not predicting shipwreck because the dude has had more fortuitous escapes than Cap'n Jack Sparrow but we haven't seen this combination of factors lined up against His Orangeness before. And it seems to be strongly dividing the MAGA base.
If the economy starts getting away from him - and there's distinct signs it could - he could have a real problem.

I've been on a bunch and the only time I'm up at 7am is if theres an early excursion on a port day and I have to be up. Otherwise I'm a very late riser.
