That's not what is happening though. They see it more like, some nutcases is telling you something has happened. They need to know more about the situation and how things work before they trust the nutcase and what the nutcase wants done about it.

That's what the echo chamber wants you to think, and there is proof they have won you over.
There are PLENTY of examples that do indeed pass the obvious litmus test just like the OP posted. We don't need to fund trans-gender experiments in other countries. If you think we do, then you are part of the problem and should recuse yourself from opinions.

The Gulf of America thing was just plain stupid.
Trump reliably says something stupid every other week. This has been his pattern during Trump v1, the long campaign from mid-2022 through election 2024, and now into Trump v2.
He usually doesn’t actually do something stupid except for peripheral matters that serves to distract attention from truly important matters.
It is what it is.

It isn’t the process that really bothers the Uniparty and their money laundering accomplices (not to forget their sheep) about DOGE.
What bothers them (actually, scares them out of their wits) is being exposed as criminal conspirators.
The real feces will start hitting the fan when the indictments for fraud and money laundering begin.
Now we know why Janet Yellin had her stream of consciousness remark about leaving the country. We’ll be seeing a lot of that over the next six months.
