RISD has many athletic clubs and teams.[37] The symbolism used for their teams is unique. The hockey team is called the "Nads", and their cheer is "Go Nads!"[38] The logo for the Nads features a horizontal hockey stick with two hockey pucks at the end of the stick's handle.
The basketball team is known simply as the "Balls", and their slogan is, "When the heat is on, the Balls stick together."[38][39] The Balls' logo consists of two balls next to one another in an irregularly shaped net.[40]
Lest the sexual innuendo of these team names and logos be lost or dismissed, the 2001 creation of the school's unofficial mascot, Scrotie, ended any ambiguity. Despite the name, Scrotie is not merely a representation of a scrotum, but is a 7-foot tall #####.[41]

I have always thought with Clemson's proximity to the Blue Ridge Mountains the "bear" would have been a more fitting mascot for Clemson.
NC has the "Tar Heels" and coots should have been the "Sandlappers".Would have fit perfect with their sandstorm song.

I remember going to a basketball game when we were playing Austin Peay. Their fans actually chanted “Let’s Go Peay, Let’s Go Peay!” One of the funniest things I had seen at that point in my life.

Due to political correctness there is a movement to have Transylvania University drop Pioneers as their mascot due to the oppression of indigenous people by early pioneers. They will now just shorten the school name and be called Trannys.
