SS is a tough position, and a freshman is going to make errors. The biggest problem I see with Collins is that she'll try to backhand some balls that she should be able to circle and get to.
You're right; we'll need some sophomores next year to step up.

Brown who is a senior and has always had issues in the field. She is next in errors. The Syracuse series is when Rittman could have gotten young players innings. Didn't happen.

Well almost half of Clemson’s lineup is freshmen while the entire Gamecock team is older & experienced. It’s a team full of experienced transfers against a lot of youth & it looks it.
