No, we still have the better QB and talent on offense.
Further, hopefully they will be in the middle of a late season QB controversy coming into Death Valley.

Run the ball, control the clock, don't turn it over.
Golson isn't good at one of those things. He got beat out by a true freshman last year after 3 years in the N.D. system. I'm not sold on him learning the offense in time to make a big impact.

I think they were pretty happy with what they had there and have recruited really well...which if he does play I am fine with bc they are setting their current qb situation back a year by letting him start...I think he will be a better qb with better talent around him for sure, compared to ND...but he also didn't play very good defenses at ND so we will see how he handles our Def and im sure they will try that read crap on us...one good thing is we can probably count on at least 2 picks from him though LOl

one season less experience for whoever starts for them next year in Tallahassee, where we will need it more.
2016 Clemson at FSU will be a 3rd-year D. Watson vs unproven FSU QB. I LIKE that.

Bringing him in just proves my theory of Jimbo's coaching ability. He's back to the same coach he was with Emanuel as QB. 2.5 years under him and SM is not ready ? Sort of like Cheese lick without Cam.

A mobile and elusive Quarterback. Game planning for a pocket passers vs. Dual-Threat Is night and day especially when the Quarterback is as athletic as Golson.
*Remember Connor Shaw ladies and gentleman? Try faster and more dynamic...
Hopefully the youth and inexperience of our front 7 will be disciplined and up to the challenge!

Golson is no where near the QB Shaw was and still is. Shaw is way better.

Slightly.... Our secondary is still very very good and golson has a tendency to eyeball his receivers, hope our D can make it a long day and our offense hangs up 40+ On the crimanoles

Yes. He's a veteran that led ND to Nat. Champ as a sophomore. He's had his head issues, but he's in a better position with more talent around him at FSU. We still beat them but he adds another dimension that FSU didn't have until today. He's good, that's why Dabo recruited him out of HS.
