There comes a time in the lives of some of us when we must make a decision that affects our future and the future of others. As most of you are aware, I will reach that magic age of 100 on Thanksgiving Day. I've enjoyed reasonably good health for the first 99 years on his earth but old age has finally taken it's toll. With the aid of family members, I have decided to change my address to an assisted living facility. I don't know if my legs have gotten longer but I now need help putting on my socks and shoes. I will probably make this move in December but be forewarned, I plan to remain on the board and maybe post a story from time to time about the days of yore.
We ALL know you well enough to know that you aren’t giving up. We need you now more than ever. Work on your footwork and ball skills. Dabo may be calling you. Don’t let us down! Go Tigers and Go big Joe,
God is good to allow us to live long enough to see the innocence and the foolishness of youth and then the wisdom of understanding that comes with age... preparing for the glorious eternity with the Father. Enjoy the remainder of your journey... Godspeed!
I am relatively new to posting here but I have been reading for years and in my opinion there are none better than you Joe. Somewhere I have heard that you can never get too much of a good thing and that you should get all you can and can all you get and for me that applies to Joe21. I say we need more posts from Joe. Thanks for your service and all your great posts.
all the workers in that facility - they will find you to be a delightful addition and will benefit from your insight into all things in life. You have me by almost 27 full years and I already wonder how much longer I will be able to get a sock on my left foot - maybe I should sign up to join you soon.
Joe, there is no post I look forward to more than yours! Keep them coming. You’ll be in my prayers for a happy birthday and successful transition. I imagine you will light up a lot of lives when you arrive on scene!
