It never ceases to amaze me how many people think they know more about football than the coaches.
Did I like some of the play calling? No, there were plenty of times where I thought it was too conservative.
Do I think they had a complicated game plan for Furman? No, this was, as Dabo says, a preseason game. I'm sure there were things already identified from the GT game, that they wanted to work on. Expect more of the same against La Tech.
The whole idea is to keep getting better, and I think this team will.
OL still needs to work on run blocking. This is our biggest issue right now.

I swear, if the receivers wont or can’t block then they shouldn’t be on the field! And if they don’t finish their routes and go after every ball thrown their way like their life depends on it, they shouldn’t be on the field! Do you think Nuke or Sammy or Amari or Hunter played like some of these receivers are playing? He!! No!
God, some of these receivers just #### me off!

The Quick screens in this offense are to SPREAD the field. When you have WR's like a SW2 or and A Scott ,they make them work.
Once we get into the meat of the season, Streeter will bring back the Jaron Brown SLANT that was ran off these quick screens
