Davidson Vs. Gallman

I know everyone is excited about the possible return of Dye this weekend but lets be realistic that he more than likely won't be the main RB.
Gallman and Davidson are nearly identical in stats; 47 vs 48 carries, both @ 198 yards, 4.1 vs 4.2 YPC, and 3 (CJ) vs 1 (WG) td. Who do you think gives us a better option at RB and why?

I didn't put much time into it but neither ESPN nor CBS put that line in their stats.
We all know about CJ's one fumble at FSU but didn't Gallman have a pass play that could have been just as costly against UofL?

Gallman runs harder and and more violent, but all that additional energy seams to be wasted when he runs up the back of his own blockers. He doesn't seam to find the holes very easily. I think a little more patience would do him a lot of good.

And that's not taking anything away from Davidson, I really hope he gets his carries as well. Gallman has the potential to be an every down back, good combination of quickness, speed and size. I should add though that I'd for 205-210, I'd like to see Gallman get out of a few more tackles.

player miss as well. Davidson can run inside pretty good too. Gallman is a good runner as well, but still need more carries to make the right read out of the backfield. Both are serviceable back with potential, but I think Davidson have that bounce that a back needs.

I have always thought Gallman. Davidson is fast in open space but he needs open space. Gallman hits the openings much quicker. Gallman must keep his feet better though. Seems like his eyes are moving quicker than his brain and feet.

I agree. Gallman seems to always be thinking to much and is constantly trying to make moves to make something happen instead of taking whats there. He seems to have a touch of Jaime Harperitis with those happy feet.
