Had off-the-cuff thought of one of the greatest runs by a Tiger QB

which to me would be Trevor16's exciting unexpected niffy 65+ yd antelope-like galloping run thru Buckeyes D for much needed TD in that CFP play-off game.
That's all, but a good thought.
Oh, DJ's 40 yd non-scoring run vs BC last week was a sight for sore eyes too.
Go TiGERS!

I was gone, and then reality set in."
That shows he can laugh at himself, which is a pretty important trait to have in a high pressure profession.

I don't think that Clemson has ever had a tougher running QB than Tajh Boyd, and Woodrow Dantzler, IMO!!!

That CJ Spiller run against GT was one of the best I've ever seen including the greats like Sanders , Walker , Jackson, Payton , etc. Two jackets were right in front of him with a sideline to help box him in and neither one laid a hand on him. I bet I replayed that 10 times before I FF to live action.

Not a QB but when I hear great runs that's where my head goes.
Have to agree that Woody was the best running QB but Homer was a close second

game away and seal our first National Championship.
Amazing determination, skill, and fortitude.
He was hooked to an IV in the locker room at halftime. Running on fumes on that last possession.
He gets my vote.

If you are old enough to remember Steve Fuller...

... you saw some pretty good QB runs. Deceptively fast. One that always comes to mind was, I think, against Virginia Tech in '78 or so. It was like an 80-yard option keeper for a TD. He held the ball like a loaf of bread the whole way.
