following Saturday off, and then another half-week before NC State. Really, he could take SC State and NC State off, and then be ready for the game after. I know groin injuries can be nagging, but this may really not be that big a deal.

if he's going to be as good as we hope he will, he may be gone after 3 years either way, so you could possibly only get 2 years out of him if you redshirt him, or if you let him recover from his injury and play him later in the year you get 2 and a half years out of him.
Again, that's if he leaves after 3 years

of the hardest workers they have seen, which tells me he is driven to succeed, and i read NFL into that. get the payday, and i can't blame no young man for that.

Bummer! This would have been a great week to get a lot of meaningful work, but just hope he gets well soon. We could use his talent. He may be that difference maker we have been in need of.

Groin injuries are some of the most difficult to get over.

I'd almost say keep the guy off his feet completely for a week. If those things aren't completely healed, and stretched properly prior to serious play, they will re-injure easily.

He will be half way thru the year w/no game experience. Don't think FSU will be the game to get his first college game day experience.

I doubt MA gets to play a down this year - needs to RS. If he re-injured it, then he will need too much rest. We won't be able to throw him into action vs. FSU since he has not really even practiced. The ONLY game that we would really need him is the USUC game. It's not worth it IMO. Too bad - I thought he would be a huge help on D. He's just too far behind already.
