Dan Pepicelli

Does anybody remember Dan Pepicelli? He is at Cornell now as their Head Coach. What did we think of him and his time at Clemson under Leggett? Maybe he would be willing to come back?

If memory serves, he was getting alot of heat for a declining pitching roster. Many questioning that Leggett should send him packing to help retain the head coaching job. Am I recalling this correctly?

I think that is correct. Their roots go back to up north somewhere. Maybe Maine.

Nobody connected to Leggett will be a viable candidate.

There was actual anger expressed by people like Sullivan and Corbin for the way we fired him.

Absolutely worst pitching coach I have ever seen. Typical scenario with pep, 0-2 count 3 straight balls in the dirt outside trying to get batter to chase. Then maybe pitcher could get one over on 3-2 count. Mostly did not happen. Thought for sure I would never hear his name again, but so goes the intelligence of T-Net posters.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Pepicelli was a good guy and generally well liked by the players. He just wasn't a pitching coach by training. Jack threw him into the job after he ran Bunn off in the fall. Bunn, on the other hand, was despised by pretty much everyone.

75-120-1 at Cornell. I'm positive he would come back, and positive he won't get an interview.
