Dabo/Finebaum interview 2015 is a must know and remember as...

all the trash here continues to post fake news about Dabo and Bama which are no more than hopes and dreams of the bored coot trolls. It's less than 15 minutes of Dabo only speaking after a short introduction by Not So Finebaum.

Despite being fired by Bama, he sounded excited at the opportunity he thought he had to go back a couple of times. Maybe it's different now that he's built his own program at Clemson, but it didn't sound like he wouldn't consider going back.

When I've talked with him personally, after 2015, he has said he didn't "leave Alabama," he was fired. He made it sound like they rejected him and he took that personally. Not just say he'll never forget it.
I was expecting him to repeat that here, since he does repeat stories, but didn't hear it put that way.

Thanks, that is important and verifies my understanding of what Finebaum...

got from Dabo's statements.
This situation isn't rocket science. When a man tells you how his trust was broken three consecutive times with disrespect and disregard for his family, livelihood or feelings there's little reason to ask him to trust them again.
Dabo hadn't changed his mind from when he spoke with you and years later when he spoke to finebaum.
I'm quite emotional about this. I married into a Bama family and my oldest daughter is still a Bama fan. I misread your previous post and I apologize for letting my emotions override my comprehension. Well, there's that and I'm dumber than a rock. Take your pick if you accept the apology.

I agree Dabo seems to hold Bama in high regards, and almost jumped at multiple opportunities to join them, even under Saban.
He then gets serious about what he's had here and God's plan. And, similar to Lanning and Oregon, he likes what he has where he is.
But.... Alma Mater, right?
I go 70/30 on what CDS will do, but I'm content either way. I've got my opinions, but they're just that.... opinions. So, we'll see ultimately.

I reposted it because it's important to dissuade posters from trolling good Clemson fans. I'm sure it's easier for those of us who have heard it to ignore it than for those who seek the comfort knowing Dabo will leave only when our university no longer wants him.
Thank you for your patience, I appreciate it.

I think he takes the job if they offer it. At this point, we just gotta hope they go with DeBoer or Norvell.

This is what i feel. He's talked about Alabama too much over the years, and now the opportunity is here.
