His interests are aligned with the student athletes best interests. He would rather see 100% of his players go on to become successful citizens/familymen throughout life than win a singular football game.
I'm ok with this. This country does not need anymore punks, thugs, or entitled ###### that lack respect, empathy, and common courtesy for their fellow man.

But if I have ot choose one, I choose Dabo's primary focus of caring about them as student athletes and people.
But I don't think (and nor do I think Dabo thinks) that you have to choose one and not the other.

which eliminates 50-80% of the high school talent by not recruiting them. Dabo also eliminates the portal from the program. Together this business decision eliminates 50% of football program work actions that most successful programs are performing.
It's a trade-off that only a very successful and entrenched coach can make. Dabo's eventual replacement (and no hurry there) will have high but different standards. Remember Coach Ford had different standards and is still loved by Clemson supporters.
