He’s still untouchable. Only way he leaves is if he resigns/retires. Short of doing something illegal or so damaging from a personal conduct perspective he’ll never be fired or at least not any time soon. The powers that be will give him a golden parachute out where the messaging will be he is resigning or will pull an Urban Meyer and say he’s done coaching only to surface somewhere else

My problem with this thought is that he allowed a top 5 program that has everything under tbe sun to fall that far. Do you really trust a coach that sat and watched the collapse happen? I am no longer on board with Dabo Swinney. I believe that Clemson would be just fine without him. We would rehire and with our facilities and financial backing would win or play for a natty within the first 3 years of a new regime. Clemson > Dabo

He knows he isn’t infallible. I do think he is overconfident in his abilities right now, but he wouldn’t be the first to feel that way after having the tremendous success he has had.

Dabo is a good guy and i think he is also genuine. he has represented clemson very well. having said that he does have a bit of a problem where he has created a bubble that he calls culture and uses it as a self defense tool to push back against any criticism or differing opinion.
