Dabo slayed the Tide - can he slay the Dogs??

Nobody wins forever, but it might be a minute before the Dogs lose.
I'm thinking Dabo is a few players short going into 2023. At a very min, the WR room has to improve. And I don't think that's enough. I sure hope he won't blow smoke this year like he did last year. Tell it like it is.
But first, gotta deal with FSU.

Please tell what have you seen from FSU to believe they are a threat to our Tiger FB team. We beat them at FSU with the worse QB in the ACC, and we beat them with a very vanilla offense to take some of the pressure off of DJ. I think we beat them down bc of all the changes that have been made since we last beat them!!!

Most definitely. Things get figured out quick around here when we find our QB. I think we found him. Also we’ve got to reinforce our brand again. Make kids want to wear that Tiger Paw because of NFL production and swag.
But yes, the 2016 Alabama team that we beat had one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen. And then you have 44-16. Those wins came smack in the middle of Saban’s dynasty. Just saying, if we can compete with Saban like we did during those times, Georgia ain’t shi*.

The Tigers have done it once or twice. It can be done again.

I Don't Know of Any Programs in place that provide employees and resources to go out and kill players. So UGA yes is the #1 SLAYER we will never catch up with Kirby Killer Smart

Clemson is W vs Georgia in 2024 CFP

and in 2024 Atlanta game
Georgia is about to be over
the only reason they made it in this run is because we had a Cali HS 5 star at QB. a Cali 5 star is like a southeast USA 2-4 star

when we played them in Charlotte. After that game, they felt unbeatable.
We lost that game because DJ threw a pick 6. In his previous game, he did a hand off 6 vs Notre Dame (that whole Etienne run that turned into a touchdown for ND)
DJ was being DJ
DJ was 5 stars because his high school played Bryce Young in state championships. Clemson got the private school consolation prize of Cali HS football. Bryce Young was the talent on the west coast. DJ just played him year after year and got the exposure.

They played an Alabama with no star receivers. They played an Ohio State with no start receivers.
They played TCU, lol. They played Michigan the year before.
They are not good. They have just benefited from Alabama and Clemson getting Cali 5 Star QBs
Georgia is about to learn the lesson . they are now recruiting like Clemson and Alabama did . they are recruiting what got us in trouble.
that's why we recruit different now. same with Alabama

Georgia’s 2023 class was #2. The 2024 class is #3. You really think recruiting is a problem?

Unfortunately we will probably never get to play UGA at the peak of their most recent success just like they did not play us when we were at the peak of our success between 2015 - 2020.
As coaches and key players have left over the last 24 months, you'll start to see a slow decline at UGA beginning in the post season this year.
I fully expect UGA still to be undefeated in the regular season given their weak schedule. Like us, after a couple years of decline, Kirby will course correct and replace some key staff positions. The wildcard for UGA is where the Willock fiasco goes, if anywhere...

Clemson played Georgia during the Dawgs national championship season.
If you see Georgia undefeated (regularl season), where do you see the slow decline?
Finally, how do you see the Willock tragedy impacting on Georgia football?

Speaking entirely for myself...

I honestly don't think most people care.
Is is a public relations nightmare and does it paint Georgia is an incredibly negative light? Absolutely! At the end of the day, is that going to translate into fewer kids wanting to play for Kirby as long as Georgia continues to win and hand out NIL money like candy at Halloween? I seriously doubt it.
These kids and their parents are going to continue following the money.

I'm sure someone will try to use it for a recruiting advantage. Most people will see it for the tragedy it is and not hang it around Kirby's neck. As long as his teams are competitive for championships and he's developing players for the NFL at the current level, he'll continue to land the best players.

Clemson played UGA in 2021 after the peak of recent success and post Scott, Lawrence, etc.
I could see UGA losing to Bama in the SEC this year as well as a loss in the CFP. I look for an offensive decline that will cost them against elite teams.
Tragedies like these can have far reaching impacts. I always go back to the Len Bias tragedy and how it impacted Maryland for decades. There are academia and donors who care nothing about athletics that can still influence athletics if they feel the reputation of the school is at risk.
