Dabo May Be A Lot Smarter Than We Are Giving Him Credit

Lord, the season hasn't even start and we are already on a roller coaster. After the punishment and typical Clemson nation (Myself included) overreaction to bad news I have sat back and I think Dabo may be freaking brilliant....Here is why:
I think Dabo may be using Sammy’s situation as a motivation tool for the defense. If Dabo truly thought Sammy was the only chance he had to win this game against Auburn I feel he would find a way play him and deal with the consequences…...
The defense has something to prove after the Orange Bowl. Dabo nneds to know what Venables and our defense are made of right now and Sammy’s situation really lights a fire on the defense….....
Also, we have arguably the best Wide Receiving corps in tha Nation with Sammy Watkins starting….........Wanna know something?...Without Watkins, we still have arguable the best wide receiving corps in the nation and at worse a top 3….............
If we lose this game, I seriously doubt that it will be due to Watkins sitting out. It will most likely be to not stopping Auburn's Offense and getting them off the field along with turnovers. If our defense does their job and Ellington protects the rock and doesn't get hurt, we have this game/

I think sammy got caught breaking the law, and dabo had to respond. The necessity of the severity of the punishment is debatable, but posted above is a few paragraphs of enough spin to blow Bill O'Reilly's mind completely.

That was the accepted CU Grad School format back in the day for figure and table titles. Also had to double space at the beginning of each new sentence.

he puts player development and rules ahead of any single player or game, then you are right.
Dabo hates Auburn. This a testiment to what he believes in and will do as head coach.
He's no Spurrier, immediately suspendeding Sammy then saying he paid his pentance and re-instated him mid-August.
I'll take Dabo any day.

evident than after the win in DV last season.....a lot of that exuberance stemmed from the fact that Clemson had just convincingly ended the longest winning streak in America--and that that streak belonged to Auburn.
Now, if we, as Tiger fans, can just convey the message that beating the chickens is equally as important........

More likely he thought "huh, he got caught with pot (possibly failed a drug test??) he is going to sit". The other coaches have likely known he wouldn't be playing for the Auburn game for a while.

going on potential. you have bryant, peake, humphries, and now hopper and possibly brooks (lining up at wr). that is a pretty good group, and AS good as alot of schools have ( imo that group right there is better than usuc's wr corp).
