8th in total defense
7th in total offense
I didn't look at turnover margin, but I bet we're up there with that stat as well.
I really think this is why Dabo is not too awful worried right now. Fix the mistakes and you're in good shape. If you don't fix the mistakes you'll have more of the same.

That's great but consider who we've played first.....let's see where we are after playing FSU. With that said, Garrett's offense gives us enormous upside if we can eliminate the silly mistakes.

No doubt. I think the point here is all the angst, griping, and whining about our coaches' experience and slim portal use when, outside of turnovers and poor FG play these first two games, we're delivering bigly on both sides of the ball over that stretch.

I'm not getting too excited about these numbers until after the FSU game. If these numbers hold after that game then it probably means we won!

Things are correctable, but now we have to win out with a schedule that includes ND, FSU, UNC, @ Miami. Dont look now, but 'Cuse is putting up points in bunches, too.
Sure 10-2 and ACCCG berth is nice. But the players and coaches mentioned CFP run and last Monday is what they put on the field. Anything less than 11-1 and playing (I assume) FSU for a trip to the CFP and its a disappointment bc we crapped the bed @ Duke.

Thats great and I love we are ranked so high but we have played Duke and Charleston Southern....
Let's see where they are over the next month to get a better picture.

Stats against Duke and CSU mean nothing. will find out what’s Clemson‘s made of in two weeks. If we can run on Florida State, we can beat them. Otherwise, not a chance.
