It is a joke, Dabo is hard headed.

It's not AT ALL uncommon for true freshman to develop as his 1st year progresses. See it all the time, basically every year at positions all over the field.
This situation is no different. Cade has matured, developed, and he's gotten used to P5 speed.

Development. Since you are apparently the team's developmental coordinator, and Cade was maturing, developing, and was getting used to P5 speed, can you tell us at what week or date from when he first arrived on campus as a freshman FB player, did he finally develop into a MVP ACCCG QB? Was it week 3, 5, maybe week 6. My guess is since he was not really given a chance to practice with the first stringers until last week, and was not put in the game with the coots, week before last, that all that development must have not really caught up to him until the last practice he participated in last week. And BOOM, all of a sudden all of that development just happened and just like that Dabo and Streeter saw it.
I wonder if DW and TL developed in the same way. Better still, I wonder why DJ was still being developed for 2 years while starting at QB and Cade was developing while sitting on the bench. We need to patent that Cade development system since I don't recall a Clemson QB bench warmer coming into a ACCCG and outplaying the team being led by a Heisman mentioned QB, and walking away with the MVP trophy.

Have you watched a lot of football in your life?
Cade was 11 of 22 for 98 yards with 1 TD and 1 terrible INT prior to week 14. What part of that equation screams ready to take over for the QB who was winning?
Dang man, if only our coaches knew how to coach maybe we'd be the best team of the playoff era instead of the 2nd best.
