UGA settled with the female “recruiting” staffer injured in the wreck while out on the town taking players to a strip joint. Other lawsuits are still ongoing. Winning isn’t everything folks.

Every good leader is a "salesman." You can't lead any other way. From my perspective, he's led pretty well during his tenure at Clemson. So I'm trusting that he's still passionate about winning and will find a way. But I'm also confident that, if he can't find a way without selling his soul, he'll step down. That may come at the end of the season if we don't make it to the playoffs. I'm still believing for an 11-1 regular season, and another shot at Georgia! Go Tigers!

Not every leader needs to be a salesman. Leasing by example, making good moves, and sustaining success are leadership traits.
Dabo is no longer doing a great job of those.
Good leaders adapt to changing circumstances. He's not doing great at that, brother.

I can't see Dabo stepping down on a low note. Paterno was dying of cancer and still worked to turn things around before he gave up. Dabo is a salesman but also a competitor...I'm thinking he's unlikely to give up or leave until he has shown he was worth all the hope people placed in him. I have no idea whether the AD will give him the time, but I hope he does.

Do you think Smart, Saban, Brown or any other HC who won a national championship is not a salesman? It's a requirement for any successful college HC. Not so much with NFL HCs as they have the draft.
Also wondering if like the coots you mean he is just a salesman. That was their standard talking point since he had never been an OC. Then he had a top five run of all time, and they crawled back into their hole.

Dabo's sold himself on the idea of what's he done over a lifetime (and he's absolutely accomplished) but like any CEO, when you top the mountain (financially and career-wise) it has to be difficult to continue having the same drive/fire that is needed to sustain success.
Kirby has it. Saban had it. Mack Jones is trying to conjure it. Swinney gave up on it.
